 Although born in the UK Rob grew up in a small country town in Victoria, Australia. From an early age he developed a deep passion for understanding people and for leadership. This passion transformed into his career, and ultimately, into his purpose. Through his career Rob has worked in a variety blue-chip companies across the world. In each role he focused on developing leaders so they can improve performance by empowering people to deliver their best contribution.

As a leader and a human, Rob has also focused on ‘practicing what he preaches’, even in times when life and work have been at their most challenging. Rob is now the founder of Muru Leadership, which brings to life the next generation of leadership and personal development.

With extensive experience in designing and delivering 

different ways of working, including hot desking and virtual working, applying the Muru lens of ‘leading the true human experience Rob will share the lessons he’s learned across different companies. Using these lessons and the Muru approach, Rob will share practical tips on how to equip leaders to bring out the best contribution from their people, no matter how and where they work.

Jane Ginnever – Founder of Bath based Shift Consultancy

As a former teacher’s pet, Queen’s Guide, military officer and general control freak, Jane’s not your typical corporate rebel. Having started her career in customer service roles, Jane joined the RAF as a commissioned officer to develop her leadership skills in 1990, and was subsequently in leadership positions within a broad range of organisations for 25 years.

Despite having her roots in corporates and the military, Jane challenges the traditional hierarchical, command and control model of work. She uses her expertise in leadership, management and HR to help leaders of organisations introduce more autonomy for employees. Working with whole teams to co-create new ways of working, she transform teams and cultures.

An authoritative voice on the future of work and a regular speaker on matters relating to people and organisations, Jane is a qualified member of CIPD and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and collaborates widely on positive change projects in the UK.

Richard Roberts – People Direct

 An employee engagement specialist who’s ‘walked the walk’ with some of the UK’s best known brands, Richard is passionate about helping organisations create engaged, inspired and productive teams with a positive, can do, values based culture. 

 Richard has worked as a Generalist HR professional for over twenty years, working for ten years at Virgin. On leaving Virgin Mobile at the end of May 2009 he set up “enRich” and became a Consultant helping organisations on Employee Engagement and Employer Branding.  

He is currently working on a part time basis as People Director for the renewable energy provider Pure Planet.  

Over the last few years, he has “presented” at over 20 conferences and delivered a number of Employee Engagement and Employer Branding seminars and workshops in the UK, Europe, Qatar, Mauritius and South Africa. He runs the Bristol Media People Forum, bringing interesting speakers to Bristol’s HR and leadership community.
